You ask a lot of questions! This is a Lenovo's utility to add the marker into the BIOS. To return an original state just run from pure DOS "CLRMARK.bat" file. CLRMARK.bat - clear the marker SETMARK.bat - set the marker

If you are using the marker tools you do not modify your BIOS, usually, this operation can not damage your computer.
Thanks for your time serg008 was only confused about the different SLIC and Sierra MC card version thought that would change "everything"^^
