Thanks, do you have any friend there that can send us this marker ? do you have link to the thread in that forum ?
Hey guys......pls give a look at my request!!!! Pls tell me atleast whether it is possible to modify this or not???? Thanks!
I posted this in 'Remove whitelist check / add ID's to break hardware restrictions mod requests.' but haven't received a reply, so I'm going to try here as well. I have a Thinkpad x120e that's running Linux. I have two different modified 1.16 BIOS's (unfortunately I don't remember where I got them) that want me to use winflash.exe, which isn't an option for me. What I've tried doing is mounting the official Lenovo BIOS iso and replacing the '$0A8F000_NWL.FL1' file with the FL1 file from either of my modified BIOS's. This is what I've done so far, and none of it has worked: Tried updating from 1.15 to 1.16, modified without a whitelist - I get a red "an error has occurred" message during flash Tried updating from 1.16 to 1.16, modified without a whitelist - Says an update is not necessary I read some where that creating a 'PFLASH.RSP' file in the update directory, with the contents of '-sa' would allow me to update from 1.16 to 1.16. It didn't have any effect for me. So, many questions. The all encompassing one being, how can I get a modified 1.16 BIOS on my x120e while running Linux? Am I way off-base by just replacing the 'FL1' file? Is the error I get when trying to go from 1.15 to a modified 1.16 just because I'm not starting out on the same BIOS revision? Appreciate any help or direction on this.
64 bit fix also? Will that also work for the 64 bit bios? 6duj46u6 released on the same date as the 46us version. Also, I noticed that there wasn't any readme files... a little wary of bricking my tablet, so was wondering if there was a specific set of installation instructions? Thanks! -trying to install an intel 5350 WiMax card on an x200 tablet w/ 6duj46u6 bios
Sorry I haven't found and thanks for the link! When I try to access "Advanced Settings" in WinPhalsh 32, I get the error message 200 "New BIOS image size doesn’t match current system BIOS size." Could anybody tell my why this is happening? -Manufacturer and Model: Lenovo Thinpad T400S - 2808-A23 -BIOS revision: 1.21 (6HET36WW)
Did you tried to flash an original (non modified) 6huj17us.exe bios at first ? add. 01BE000_WL.ROM - modified bios
Hello Serg008, Thank you for the quick reply. My BIOS revision is already 1.21 (6HET36WW) since a couple of month, that is why I tried to install the modified BIOS right away. 1. Starting WinPhlash 2. Selecting 01BE000_WL.ROM 3. Click on "Advanced Setting" --> Error -200 accours. Now I tried to install the original version von BIOS 1.21 again, but that is not possible, since my existing version is already 1.21 . Any idea what else I could try?
