Hi Serg008, thanks for your quick reply. With regard to the missing SLIC on the L530, I'm wondering if a mod as such is actually necessary, as the SLIC table should be in the original BIOS file already. Being a relative noob at these issues, I can't help but ask myself if there is a way to flash the "complete" original BIOS with the SLIC table. Or am I missing something else? Sorry if I'm beating a dead horse here.
Thanks for your answer! Just for my interest. Why can't these bioses be modded? I'm a noob on this, but I played around with the PhoenixTool a little bit. If have used the .fl1 file from the package and a slic version I found somewhere else (see attachments). I had set the tool to lenovo, loaded my rw report and fired it up. No errors appeared and the result was ok! But I was to afraid to flash it. View attachment 19595
Because we unable to turn off the BIOS integrity check at now. We can modify these BIOSes, but can't to flash the mod
I'm looking for the whitelist/1802 mod bios for a Thinkpad z61t. I believe the z61m bios is the same. I've seen this has been created in the past but all of the links I can find are now dead. Anyone have a copy they can send me?
Oh, all right, so this works universal? I didn't know that, because it's the official Bios for the machine, which came with Win7 Starter only. Anyway, thank you for your support. Best regards Turm
Hi! I have seen your great job. I have an IBM X41Tablet Type 1869 CNG which I bought in 2006. I have tried to update it with a SSD ( Micro Storage MSD-PA18.1-064MJ ). All things seams to work well except the error 2010 during the boot. If possible, please upload again the firmware modified, the link above doesn't work at this moment. Thanks Alev
