Hi there! I've tried to upgrade my BIOS using the technic that you've described, and it appeared to work, only when trying flashing the MB from DOS. It never appeared to be working on Win, saying "error 1452" or something like that. It seems to appear everytime windows is preventing to load hazardeous drivers. In this way, someone can please provide me a working winflash utility that also understands the custom FW? my computer is a Lenovo X61: -Motherboard Manufacturer and Model : Lenovo X61 -Bios Revision : 7NETC2WW v2.22 -Bios Type : Phoenix BIOS /ACPI 2.0 -Bios SLIC : LENOVOTP-7N_V2.0 thanks in davance.
Just wanted to follow up and say that I was able to get the original solution to work properly but downgrading to BIOS 1.23 and then using the modified BIOS originally posted. This also worked from Windows 8. Thank you!
Hi, everybody! I have Lenovo T400 2765-T7U. It has the latest version of BIOS 3.23. When powered up, it constantly shows "Error 1802: Unauthorized network card is plugged in". Can you help me with this? As I'm not so skilled in such things. Thanks
