    Does the WWAN card work well ? What model of card it is ? About the beeps, i think you can disable them in bios, under the security options.

    Hi!

    The WWAN card Ericsson F5521GW but i think not that the problem source, because if I remove the card, the beeps still on at boot. I look for the beeps disable in bios, but I can't.


    Thanks if you can help for me...

    Same on my W520. In some other Forums they say the beeps say "My Mainboard has a problem. Please ship me to lenovo". I think the modded BIOS is the (security) problem not the WWAN card.
    Disable the TPM (if you don't need it) under security options in BIOS.
    Works perfect for me.

    Hmm... I will try it. One more question: My laptop is still in warranty for over two years. Can I reflash the original - not modded or beeper - BIOS?
