    You don't need the first one; it was used to analyse the marker.

    Update to the latest bios, then use the marker mod by lwd65565.

    :)

    Thanks. I guess you were referring to standard procedure about upgrading to the latest BIOS, since I don't see any BIOS releases for Lenovo IdeaPad S400 on their website. Unless you have other ideas about the particular BIOS for IdeaPad S400, I'm going to use the mod above.

    Hi Serg008.
    My T43 Model 1871-W3C is running again. I could only repair with LPT_boot block jumper. but now i am happy again and ready for more testing :)
