    While I am genuinely extremely appreciative of this effort, I would like to learn more to do this myself. I have experience in the past with editing in replaced device ID's into an older model HP firmware and re-flashing, however, I seem to keep hitting dead ends with the "last generation" Lenovo firmwares. (Dumping usable PBE Rom from *.FL1). Are there any updated guides or an IRC channel or anything that I can idle in to read/learn more about this process?

    Hi abu2Qa,

    I'm in desperate need of a full BIOS dump for an E520 because I'm trying to create a new BIOS chip. Could you pls pls pls help me? Or maybe you know how to create one?
