Sorry to be such a NOOB but I have worked out that the BIOS is independent of the OS 32/64bit.

However trying to flash with WINPHFLASH on a Lenovo x200 with Windows 8 64bit OS the Winphflash freezes.

I believe there is a Winphlash64 but how do I get it to work with the MOD BIOS??

Any help appreciated.

ok, so modding the bios for B590 will not work with: Phoenix/Dell/EFI SLIC Mod v2.14 . I have to use 'marker tool' instead.

 

Do i use the SLP2.bin included or better use LENOVO[TP-H1]2.1-66C694F1.BIN ?

 

So the full SLIC table is already present the marker only 'activates' it. So the slp2.bin included will work just fine ?

 

no chance of bricking the board with this tool ?

 

Tried it.I get: Fail.

 

I did try with the phoenix/dell/efi mod tool and did get this as a result: SLIC performed successfully. BIOS file is D:\h9uj01us\{app}\H1ET39WW\$0AH1000_SLIC.FL1 . Would flashing this bios file work ?

@Tito: Tried the marker tool (steps 5,6 then 8). It said OK 2 times but cannot flash the backup original rom. Mostly secureflash error messages.
