Hi. I can't find BIOS on lenovo webside for my Ideapad S400. I need to mod my BIOS and for request i need link for BIOS. Can somone help me with this? Can i backup my BIOS from my S400 and upload it? How can i do this? Thanks for any help.
Yes but i have problems with windows activation and i thought because of some BIOS protection or something. Am i wrong?
Hey Serg, First, thank you in advance for keeping up with this thread/modding for so long, your availability on these forums is amazing. I've wanted to update my Z580 bios for some time, as I have two which are exactly the same, except for the newer one having a windows 8 key, newer bios, and more stable UEFI booting. I see you already made a whitelist mod for that firmware (5FCN91WW), but can't seem to flash it. Making a bootable drive and loading it with phlash16 gives me a failed to load error and fails out. How should I be backing up and applying this firmware? I'm sorry if this has been covered to death, but this thread is intimidatingly massive and I have yet to find working info.
Hello, I wondered if anyone has modded the BIOS for a Lenovo Thinkpad Edge S430 yet, to remove the PCI wireless card whitelist? I've tried searching the forum but didn't find anything. thanks
