    I've got phcomp.exe and $01C2100.FL1 file (from X201i BIOS)
    I'm doing phcomp.exe /D $01C2100.FL1 and getting $01C2100.FLh
    I'm doing phcomp.exe $01C2100.FLh and getting $01C2100.FL2
    But the sizes of $01C2100.FL2 and $01C2100.FL1 are different?
    Is that OK? Am using some weird phcomp.exe?
    Could someone try it and see if that's the same for you?

    Taking a look inside the files I see that the original one starts with BCPVPD and the new one starts with $COMPIBM.
    Probably that's different formats.
    Are they compatible? Can I flash $COMPIBM instead of BCPVPD?

    It appeared that just the header was different.
    phlash16.exe flashed both versions of the same compressed bios just fine.
