LENOVO (IBM) Bioses, especially Thinkpad.

    I went back and tested each file you uploaded with a flashdrive booting a different version of DOS. I now get a different error with using these extracted files. it says 49 - Error: A Platform condition has prevented flashing

    Thoughts?

    Nevermind! I used the first file you uploaded with a clean dos thumbdrive and it magically worked! Thank you all for your help!

    1. insert flash drive
    2. power on
    3. press f1 (setup menu)
    4. select startup
    5. uefi/legasy boot [legesy only]
    6. press f10
    7. restart - press f10
    8. select boot menu (usb flash drive)
    9. press enter
    10. run bat file

    yes , i'm :)
    my first nick (THINGOL) was catched , therefore i used second nick (MATIZKO).

    simply I was confused those that the laptop Lenovo Essential B590 isn't ThinkPad ..or not ?
    I wanted to specify casually not to kill someone else's laptop . :eek:
