I've been searching like crazy for a way to overclock my lenovo G575 20081 build. I've tried every ovecloking program build or un-build but with no luck. After many days spent searching i've realized that somehow my laptop bios is locked to that option. I also searched this forum and found some request for a lenov G575 bioses but those where SLIC-based request. Due to the fact that i do not need SLIC unlock because is working well with W7 SP1 64 Bit ... i did not tried. I've downloaded bios modding tools but ... that language is way strange for me, and i'm also terrified to do a surgery on bios mysefl, because i do not know what i'm having to do ... The question is this: is anybody willing to help me to modd my bios so i can overclock my laptop, or to point me to a direction from which i can download a modded bios for this ... black-friday laptop??? I want to ... overclock CPU! At this point it will not modify CPU freq, no matter what i try. Actually if i alter the CPU multiplier it is down-clocking CPU's FSB, by itself, to a level that the CPU freq remain the same (~1300Mhz)! I never seen that before!!! Please help!!!
