    Thanks for the reply Serge008,

    I did think of your option #2 earlier and tried it as it seemed a simple task to swap out the bios file on the Image, but I couldn't get my UltraISO Premium (Ver. 9.5.3.2901) to "open" the Lenovo ISO image. I assumed it was written in a file format not readable by UltraISO. (If it was, it would have saved me a lot of time & effort. :eek:)

    Perhaps it's my level of familiarity with UltraISO as I rarely use it anymore. I'll go try to read up on it again and see if I can open it.

    Edit => I ran through UltraISO and mounted some other images (Win 7 Ultimate 64, a Blue Ray Movie, a DVD Movie, etc.) that I have on an Archive Drive with no issue. The Lenovo Image (2rj964b.iso) mounts but has no files, or size - even though the image is 16,640 KB. Do you know of a read option that can cause the files to display?

    Thanks for the assist. :worthy:

    Open 2rj964b.iso image with Ultraiso -> Bootable ->Save Boot file (e.g.as boot.bif)
    Open boot.bif with ultraiso ->replace $image2R.usf with modified one ->Save
    Open 2rj964b.iso image with Ultraiso -> Bootable ->Load Boot file (load corrected boot.bif) - Save ;)

    Hi again Serge008,

    Open 2rj964b.iso image with Ultraiso -> Bootable ->Save Boot file (e.g.as boot.bif) - Worked
    Open boot.bif with ultraiso ->replace $image2R.usf with modified one ->Save - Worked !
    Open 2rj964b.iso image with Ultraiso -> Bootable ->Load Boot file (load corrected boot.bif) - Save - Worked!!

    I renamed the resulting ISO with mod at the end so don't I get confused later. I burned it to disk and will now test it.

    Thanks for the assist and lesson on UltraISO. I didn't realise you could do these things. :worthy::worthy:

    IBM t43 2010 error

    Could you please tell me how did you get this hd error message out after installing Window on IBM T43? I have read the thread, however, the referral linked brings an ad each time that I click on it, not an actual link with the file.

    Thank you very much.

    wouldn't work in my e530

    Hi serg008,
    I noticed you said it works for the e530, but when I try to flash it to my e530 it didn't work.

    I have the e530 3259ad9. Not sure if that makes a difference.
    My bios is H0uj15ww (2.55)
    PLZ. Let me know if it can work. Or if you would be kind to remove the whitelist for me.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi serg, I was able to downgrade the system to 2.07 (h0uj08ww). I noticed you had this Lenovo_Thinkpad_Edge_E430_E530_h0uj08ww_LENOVO21 mod. I was wondering if you still had it with the whitelist removed.
