    The CPU list shouldn't affect an upgrade to a faster CPU I went from the stock CPU to the intel 9800 had no problems all it did was start up a little faster.

    My question is what should I see when I make the .bat file and run it in the modified folder. I ran it didn't see any windows open up like Lenovo's does when flashing the bios and didn't say I had to reboot not sure if it worked. When I ran the WINUPTP from the Slic+Wlist folder, it said the same BIOS was already installed and I didn't go any further. I see I have a flashbl.bak file with today's date and time does that mean it worked?

    Hi SERG008, thanks for your reply. Yes that is what I have been doing. I am using a USB key with freedos on it. Same error every time, extended checksum not zero, continue y/n. Should I answer y to continue? ie is this normal for phlash16? Thanks for your help.

    Здравствуйте Сергей!
    Прошу консультации. Я не смогу это изложить на английском, поэтому пишу по русски.
    У меня в семье есть 2 ноута Lenovo B590(20208)
    1)биос H1ET73WW(1.16), биос модифицирован (удалена проверка WL, активирован Slic 2.1)
    2)биос H1ET75WW(1.18), биос модифицирован (активирован Slic 2.1)
    в биосе H1ET73WW(1.16) обнружена ошибка - не правильно работает один из портов USB 3.0
    На сайте Lenovo биос H1ET75WW(1.18) отсуствует. Я писал в тех. поддержку Lenovo, они помочь не смогли, у них этого биоса тоже нет.
    Вопрос такой можно ли в биосе H1ET75WW(1.18) удалить проверку WL и перенести этот биос на ноут #1
    На первый взгляд конфигурация ноутов почти одинаковая, мат. платы 20208.
    Отличия ноутов
    1-й ноут 2 планки памяти по 4Гб Hynix
    2-й ноут2 планки памяти по 4Гб, одна Samsung, другая Hynix
    разные DVD приводы на одном Philips, на другом Hitachi
    Заранее благодарю за ответ.
