I got a response with the FN+R, but trying:
    the FD file
    the other FD file
    extracting the fd file
    the drive blinks forever.
I've left it alone to work for a few hours but still no change after I restart.

Try to use another port USB, only one of them works for recovery (USB 2.0 usually).

    Hi friend,
I would say that I never found a Recovery Bios working on Lenovo !
May be some Phoenix Bioses (few 4/5) are documentated working and
some Insyde Bioses (1/2) are tested on IdeaPad series (using a different
name than Recovery into Bios) actualy for UEFI, reading into some
reserved documents It's wrote that for new UEFI bios thechnicians get a
.EFI tool to use from an USB for this job, but I cannot find anywhere !
So better thing is to take an SPI Programmer and do the Recovery manualy !
    Regards

    Hi experts,

I have a x201 Tablet 3113-B72 with 6quj19us BIOS. When trying to apply the whilelist patch found here, it will flash but the machine beeps 5 times twice when rebooting, every time - very unnerving. I have to reflash with a very old Lenovo version (second BIOS version ever available) to make the beeping go away, then I can can update again to the latest. Seems like the patch has some unintended consequences.
Anyone has any idea what to do ? I could only find one patch, ThinkPad_X201_6quj19us_NWL which causes the issue.
I am pretty sure I did everything right, since I have done this many many times on various Thinkpads and Dell Latitudes.
    Thanks!
