    Do I need to be concerned about the checksum error?

    Correct.

    Checksum error only appears while flashing the bios (when executing flash.bat).

    Hi Serg.. thank you for the reply... I did download, make a portable windows flash drive and tried to flash the bios; I get an error stating that I have that version installed, (1.39) the newest one, and it does not replace the bios so the white list remains... any suggestions? Thanks again.

    try with "/s" option :
    WINUPTP.EXE /s
