    I tried updating to the one on the site and it switched back to 2.0 and deactivated:(

    Finally I got my motherboard replaced at the repair center...
    But really have hesitation to try it again... X_X

    odd, i have the 3.09 bios, the one for the t400 with firewire, the same one you listed you needed, and win 7 is still activated.

    Really? I'll give it another shot tonight but as soon as I tried it yesterday and it deactivated as soon as I rebooted.

    Edit: Tried it again and it is 2.0 and deactivated.

    Thanks Busykid, I just tried the bios and windows is activated again.
