    Tried it out. It does not work. The SLIC table is OK but the marker is incorrect. Could you please correct the marker?

    Specifically, the marker is 7U which is for the tablet. It needs to be 6D.

    It would be appreciated if a mod of the 3.13 BIOS (link in my previous post) could be made though.

    My bad, I thought you simply copy-pasted from an earlier post that has a version with the incorrect marker. I should have read your post carefully.

    Cheers! It worked perfectly. Thanks for taking time from your busy schedule :)

    @Busykid508

    There was a discussion (starting in post 1131) about using Dell/Lenovo SLICs for modding a T43 1875 BIOS 70uj29us-70ET69WW. Has this ever been resolved? One thing that confuses me, the modded T43p BIOS (1yuj18us-1YET65WW) has the Lenovo 2.1 SLIC in it. With the new WAT it's seems a bad idea to use the Dell.

    So I'm attempting to flash your BIOS from that post but after entering your command string (phlash16 /x /FORCE /O /C /S $0199000.ROM <ENTER>) I get several pages of additional switch options. The /mod:filename or /mb switches seem reasonable but I'm concerned about bricks.

    Thanks.

    For the life of me, I have no clue of what you are saying....why don't you give me the download link and an rw everything report and then a mod can be made.

    New ThinkPad Models

    Has anyone been able to confirm that this method works with the new Core i5/i7 round of ThinkPads such as the T410, T510, and W510? I would buy one if I could confirm that I can swap out 3G modem and WIFI...I want to be able to run MacOS with full feature support.
