License won't install

    I run into the same error trying to install the xrm license.
    Asus notebook with slic 2.0 modded successfully to 2.1 Dell QA09. Slic tool confirms match of bios/xrm file. Clean of windows 7 32 bit no loaders etc.
    I'd be grateful if anyone could tell me how to correct this.

    The Certificate file name is normally DELL.XRM-MS. You simply typed DELL as the file name.

    you need to type slmgr -ilc c:\dell.xrm-ms

    Thanks for the quick replies. Worked fine. I only typed in the file name without the extension,
    I'm now the proud owner of a Genuine Dell laptop - at least until MS finds out!!
