    Yo, MJ! Thanx! ;)

The links from the first one are already here, the second one is not exactly what I want to do (coding is not on yet) and the third seems good but...

    We keep on trying... :)

Went back to Endless OS, thanx to you... :) Managed only to get the full ENG version onto a USB stick using Etcher, as their Windows installer is mind-boggling cr@p!

It's good in some ways - but excruciatingly patronising... Firstly, as mentioned, no way to install it properly, as Ubuntu installer options are simply removed, so no way to choose which disk, partition, which size, format, SWAP or not etc. etc.!

But it goes on and on... No apt-get!!!! No codecs for AV, no Debian/Ubuntu installer, EVEN no Synaptic or Kodi and other stuff in their SW centre, no.... blah-blah-blah... One could go on and on... It is seriously crippled in so many ways, it hurts...

Visually it's good, even pretty good - until you go into a game, like Minecraft - what a cr@p display... And didn't see yet how to import an account used on Wii U...

They spent time porting stuff for Linux and so on but their crippling of Linux itself is commercially motivated, it seems to me, and not in a good way, sadly...

So, thumbs down for closing down "open source", dumbing down masking of commercially motivated removal of so much stuff of Open Source kind!!!

Thumbs up for plenty of content (although not everything works, on quick inspection), which helps kids with learning/education/informing themselves and gaming but the rest is... highly annoying, as it is against the very spirit of Linux/Open Source!!!

To be run for fun, only from USB stick, all else makes no sense to me... Much better to stick with Ubuntu, properly installed on an SSD and additionally install Educational suite from Synaptic etc. etc.

Correction: Rufus worked, too - as indicated by R2DeeToo! :)
