Hi all, I have tried a few Linux distro's on my old notebook but for some reason it will not shut down when i say so. When i check the log by pressing f10 in the shut down process i see everything on OK but 1 thing fails. Killing all remaining processes... modem-manager [2333]: <info> Caught signal 15, shutting down [fail] I am using Ubuntu 11.10, can someone help me because i really want to test linux out but always bugged me with this error so i never used it.
