install using cmd sc config licensemanager type= own restart pc has the wireless bug been fixed yet..anyone know?
Ditto! I often wonder why more ppl don't use drive imaging software! Keeping drive image(s) allows you so much freedom and it's quick to restore your clean system without all the hassle of re-installing drivers and your regular software and configuring it all. You get the freedom to wipe drive, install whatever, mess about til your hearts content. Restore drive image = job done. Acronis True Image Boot CD is a wonderful bit of kit!
First thing I will do is make sure all programs still work, then do a major uninstall and clean up or programs and reinstall them fresh (or just do a reset )
Just wondering why install Classic Shell ? For Win8 I get it, but I like the menu in Win10 plus it is not extra stuff you need to load with each win 10 install.
What do you install, because I only start my browser, type a address and click to enter this site and relax ....
ooo my bad that is Shadow DEFENDER, I'm not sure why I typed protect, probably because of all the backup software that has been updating lately lol. DEFENDER is a program that allows me to literally destroy windows, reboot and its back to where I was before I destroyed it (if I enable it before I attempt destruction lol)
Hi all, I'm installing all my software using SCCM. As I install my Windows 10 in a VHDX, I cannot update my builds. So now, I'm installing many software : - 7-Zip - uTorrent - Adobe Flash Player - Adobe Reader XI - ASG-Remote Desktop - Beyond Compare - Bomgar - Boxcryptor - CCleaner - Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client - FileZilla - Google Earth Pro - Java 8 - KeePass 2.29 - Magic File Renamer - Malwarebytes Anti-Malware - Microsoft Money - Microsoft Office Pro Plus 2013 x64 - Microsoft Visio Pro 2013 - Mozilla Firefox v39 - Notepad++ - Paint.NET - ProgDVB - Registrar Registry Manager - Right Click tools - Skype 7.6 - SnagIT 12 - SCCM Manager Console - TeamViewer 10 - TreeSize Pro - VLC - VMware Workstation 11 - WizMouse All this is installing without any problem... except I have to change the reg key to allow MS Money to work
yes!! omg I've been digging around in my system trying to figure out why this is happening. I keep trying to figure out what button I am bumping while typing. And you cannot get it back to the line you were typing, it stays above. lol I feel a little better, its not just me.
Process for updating my HTPC... 1. Remove SSD and replace with clunky old HDD. 2. Install Windows 7 Pro, install all drivers and Dell Cert. 3. Upgrade to Windows 10 Pro, check Activation. 4. Format C:\ 5. Clean install Windows 10 Pro and check Activation. 6. Remove clunky old HDD and replace with original SSD 7a. Wait till I, MS or you guys find a real replacement for WMC. 7b. Put clunky old HDD in an enclose and boot it up every month or so. Mainly to check that its still activated but also to help MS_User with his 'porn collection'
As I still have not installed this on my primary rig, I am wondering why everyone is being so flaky about the OS. Is everyone forgetting the basics of system testing and letting it run as is to see what is going on instead of being all paranoid? I also see all of the talk about activators and I installed on a Win 7 system that I used DAZ to activate and it is running as a fully legit and activated install. It seems that all of these changes are going to create issues rather than show ones that really exist within the confines of the OS itself. my list 1./ install on a secondary system 2./ install chrome 3./ install steam (I am a gamer so gaming performance is important to me) 4./ install Visual Studio 2015 5./ run diagnostics for networking and performance twice a day 6./ update as needed to evaluate driver support and functionality Beyond these things I am waiting to see how things pan out over the next few months before I install on primary and then decide based on behavior if the system has issues instead of creating ones.
