You seem to be confusing "activated properly" with "getting ripped off" and "being taken advantage of".
Look like you need... 1. Bring old SSD back in. 2. Reinstall Original Win10 Home version on same old SSD. 3. Make sure Win10 Home is activated. So now you have Win10 Pro Oem key from Kingun. 4. You need download clean Win10 Pro 10240 or 10586 ISO without updates. 5. On desktop, Mount that ISO you just created. 6. Run that setup inside of ISO. 7. Select UPGRADE during install. 8. Select Pro version then put oem key from kingun. 9. It's should be work AFTER you got activated. restart few times to make sure. 10. You can change old SSD to new SSD bigger one. I guess it's worth try. I bought Win10 Pro ($15) from Kingun with 95 cent insurance and my key works like charm.
yep its not the key. its the user. i found steps to do the home to pro.. but im sure OP hasnt tried it... he seems trollish
For a start, I never said I had tried it, my whole point was to avoid trying it! I'm well aware that I could have upgraded my Home edition to Pro, but seeing as I had removed the original SSD and was starting blank, I wanted to avoid installing Home again, then upgrading, thus, just install Pro clean and activate. Your the troll!! buddy. Regardless. Thanks for the suggestions guys. I will certainly try the above methods now, as its sitting here useless anyway, and maybe that key might still work. Who knows?
sorry i was a little bit rude there, you have not been trollish i confused you with someone else i think just wanted to get u to acknowledge the possible fix... try the code of website on current install, then change key to yours.
Update. Key is definitely borked. Everything tried, including installing Home and upgrading, running setup on activated Home etc, the lot, same error. Paypal dispute in progress, so will get the cash back, no worries there A word of warning for those maybe seeking to go down the same route. 1. Always remember to pay with Paypal for things like this, as it adds an extra layer of insurance should things go wrong 2. Keep copies of everything. Screenshots when upgrading, installing, copies of invoices etc. 3. Open a ticket on the seller site, it will be ignored of course, but grab screenshots of it also. 4. Be prepared to be without your $20 for around 20 days, a pain, but hey, we live and learn. All in all, a PITA yes, and maybe I'm just unlucky and got the duff key?, but an experience I suppose (lol), and what's life without them? Time to try all my Win7 keys now. Surely one will activate?
Well there ya go, lol!!! First of my Win7 keys (top of the list), and system has activated on Pro, not a problem whatsoever Wish I had just tried that in first place! I should be able to just wipe and go now guys eh?
If Windows 10 is activated, then you can just wipe and instasll it again without entering any key as it should activate itself.
I usually use /apply and apply the install.wim to the clean HDD. never ask for a key, and is much faster than insert, boot to then run setup. of course it is not activated. because it uses the MS Default install key. then i add the proper MAK or Retail or OEM key for my Edition. insert ethernet cable or turn on the wireless, reboot and wait for MS to Activate... I also install ADK then import all the Window 10 keys and you insert and activate that method. Never had any Activtion Issues at all.
Why would you want or need to BUY a KEY, there are hundreds or Genuine FREE Key for any Edition of Windows 10. many are "Just ask and most are willing to share" Just be smart enough to ASK for the CORRECT KEY.
yeah refund or NextKey i wouldnt doubt they got hacked and their keys stolen lol.. try a different vendor in the list. it can only be used on 1 pc also
The standard MO is to sell the same key multiple times until it get blocked. By the time the first few buyers realize it's been blocked (if ever), it's too late for a refund.
