Little issue with Build 7000 and Windows Live Messenger

    I reverted back to 8.5 because of this stupid issue lol

    run it under "windows vista" compatibility mode [right click wlm shortcut>properties>compatibility>run as: windows vista]. will work now.

    Try the XP compatibilty mode - then re-boot twice. I'm not sure this will works - does with some software - doesn't with others.

    I got something this when I first opened IE8 after installing Messenger.
    It turned out to be IE8 + Messenger opening new windows telling me about the new features and trying to sign in at the same time.

    Try it again, but this time leave it a minute or two to open the other windows and sort it self out. :)
