See now with Windows Defender and the Malwarebytes Ransomeware I can go to the seedy side of town, for testing purposes only, lol
None Of my software works correctly if at all on 8/10. I'm not spending thousands to upgrade to run on an OS that sucks when everything works perfectly on XP/7. Win10 up is free but nothing else is.
Why? It's clear he only wants to rant about Windows 10. If the problems are as bad as he says, such as Microsoft "making users' lives unbearable", why doesn't he have anything to say about how users could make their lives "bearable" again? Because then there probably wouldn't be a reason to write another bunch of articles on the exact same topic, is my point. And yes, it's unfortunate that there is no "dislike" feature.
Yeah, I can't really get behind the automatic driver updates either, though I've seen it work well most of the time. Had to disable it on one of my ThinkPads because it kept installing a Wacom pen driver that didn't do palm rejection. Seriously? Yeah, that's not good. I know WU has a separate category for Windows 10 drivers also, but I'm not sure how that's actually used. I find it hard to believe though that it would offer drivers that the OEM didn't explicitly allow for distribution on Windows 10. Ultimately it's the hardware manufacturer's responsibility to release working drivers. I don't blame Microsoft for a driver that crashes the machine, I blame the manufacturer.
This should work in win7. Is the best thing you can do with defender Code: @echo off cd /d "%~dp0" echo Uninstalling Windows Defender ... CLS install_wim_tweak.exe /o /l install_wim_tweak.exe /o /c Windows-Defender /r install_wim_tweak.exe /h /o /l echo Windows Defender should be uninstalled. Please reboot Windows. pause
So for work all this i must first download install_wim_tweak.exe and put to a folder with this script and after run the script ?
Sure it is, but it's Microsoft's responsability to make sure that only Windows 10 certified drivers are offered through Windows Update. Take Creative Labs as an example. Creative did release updated drivers for Windows 10, non WHQL though, so available at Creative's website. But Microsoft pushes old Vista drivers for Audigy and X-Fi, which may crash your system. To make things worse, when uninstalling drivers, Delete the driver software for this device isn't working. Even if you disable your Internet connection, the driver will be reinstalled upon reboot. It's a nightmare. The removal of the F8 hotkey just makes things worse, as it takes many restart cycles for Windows to enter safe mode. I believe Microsoft is doing this to support that Windows 10 support about every device since Vista, but it comes with a price for the unlucky user.
Wants to install windows 7 in 2023 Expects Software and Hardware Support, also expects you to use Windows AV Next suprised he isnt complaining on how Windows XP lost support in the last couple of years Nice Joke
