    I'd suggest BBEdit, I've been using it, and its the closest thing you'll find to notepad++

    I always used TextWrangler until BareBones retired it, but since the free edition of BBEdit does everything i need.. I just stuck with that

    vscode & sublimetxt recommended, but sometimes, windows notepad or mac's own editor just works.
