Thanks, I only asked because on a lot of my motherboards I can flash from the bios without a bootable usb stick. I will load up a usb stick
and head over to my brothers tonight after he gets out of work. I am guessing that awdflash will work with a rom file?

moving on, windows 7 anyone? :)

    Hello.
Sorry to hijack the thread, but it seemed like you guys had the right card and the right experience.

    I also hav anNarra 3 board: Asus/HP M2N68-LA (Narra3) Revision 3.02 with current bios 5.10

I was after a bios that could open the bios so I could tune it in advanced settings. The Asus board is known as a good one, but the HP bios have completely removed all advanced settings. Is this possible to fix?
Also currently its running vista, and I want to get to windows 7.
I did find that Nojuan999 had made a 2.1 slic on this forum 17. january, but I cannot add the link since im new.(bios modded list page 1235) (
I just saw that it was actualy you who asked for the bios budzos how did it work out?)

As you might see I have no ideas what all the terms menas, but iv flashed a few bioses in my time. So I was hoping that someone could help me to open the bios, or atleast confirm if slic 2.1 from Nojuan999 is a windows 7 which I can use?

Also is if safe as long as I have the same card and revision or do I need the exact same HP pc? Im guessing that multiple HP builds use the same card, so I was hoping it was a good for all bios.

As for foxcon thats news to me. Havent seen anything about it on the board and cpu-z gives me assustech board model narra3. The board itself states M2N68-LA rev 3.02

So since the bios mod is made in ISA, does this mean that the settings should be usable with this bios?

But hos does an ISA mod work then. Does it relase all the barriers that has been added on? Like hp has on this board. Sounds almost to good to be true.

Anyway I flashed the bios and it worked great. HP screen is gone and phoenix is a sight for my eyes ;)
Dident get any new adjustments doh, so it seems I cannot overclock. Hope someone have an idea about this.

I also have a Narra 3 board with bios version 5.11.

What are my options for upgrading the bios ?

    Thanks.
