Would like to add this to library, however not around anywhere.
Started using XP late, so never got hold of these when it originally arrived.

SP0 means the original "Gold" release.

I might have a disc somewhere which was XP 6-in-1. If I remember rightly, it had the original "Devils0wn" (right?) release as well as the Dell version.

You might be able to extract the ISO from that (I believe a tool was on the disc to allow you to do so).

Want me to take a look?

No thanks, has to be an original copy. Besides, the 6in1 didn't have a Dell Home SP0 OEM on it, only a Dell Pro SP0 OEM which I have obtained a copy of with the help of a member here on MDL.

I have a copy of the (black pn:3R350) that was made years ago, but the deploy.cab file is corrupt.

I also have an original of the (purple pn:7K404), the corrupt file on the 3R350 seems to be the same

as the one on this (size and date). If you would like I can upload what I have, ISO for the purple

pn:7K404, and files for the black pn:3R350. I don't know what the difference is between the 2,

both are RTM (SP0) and are XP2_PER_ENG.

Thanks for taking the time to post this. Shame with the black one. As far as I have been able to find out, thanks to the help of a member here on MDL, Dell made at least 3 different SP0 discs for the Pro version, guessing they did the same for Home (PER). First according to dates, was XP2_PRO_ENG, so was the second, 3rd one they called XP_PRO_ENG. Yes corporate logic ;)

Would be great if you could upload what you have, ISO for the PN: 7K404 and files for the PN: 3R350

The date of the WIN51 file in root of either discs, could you give me that one?

Both say 8/18/2001 8:00 AM on the WIN51 file

Folder dates on 7K404 are 8/28/2001, dates on 3R350 are 5/6/2002. Folder contents all the same date.

But I cannot remember what app was used to copy the 3R350, it my have changed the folder date.

UltraISO states, 'SUPPORT\TOOLS\DEPLOY.CAB' read Error!, on the 3R350 but it did make an ISO.

I will work on uploading both, later on tonight.

Great, judging by that, the 7K404 is the oldest and first one, compared to the Pro ones.

Appreciate your help, looking forward to them. :) Thanks again.

Thanks for that, but it's not an ISO image of original, it's an ISO made from files of the disc.

In properties, I can see it was made by:

ULTRAISO V9.3 CD & DVD CREATOR, (C) EZB SYSTEMS, INC.
    23/05/2011 18:30:31

When using UltraISO, you can hit F8, then it will make a true Image of the disc.

Much easier way is using ImgBurn and choose READ option.

Sorry if I seem like a pain in the arse.

Maybe, I can see you know the XP x64 delta thread, you can make a delta file to make the wrong ISO into a real true ISO. Difference would be just a few bytes.

    xdelta3.0z.x86-32.exe encode -s XP2_PER_ENG.iso REAL_XP2_PER_ENG.iso REAL_XP2_PER_ENG.delta

No problem, used Imgburn this time. Uploading now.

I am still trying to figure the delta stuff out.

Does it make it into an exact match to the original? or a close copy?
