Downloaded, with a peek of 3.3 MB/s I remember seeing, the MD5 hash is 5CB7A32F B7A83972 081792EC 27BA8CCC which the torrent stated is the actual hash. This is the file which is missing 200 KB of data, but I read it is fully functional. The expected hash was the one you have written (4480F94C 0E11CE58 DC9B7330 678F07DD). Now I am going to install it, see what it is all about. Thanks for the links and assistance to everyone who contributed here!
Actually the taskbar in Windows 8 build 7959 S. has more functions (like fully functional "User Tile") and less bugs than in 7989 C.
in all honesty not sure why anyone would run this build, needs to be activated and with the timebomb, when I tried all I got was nag messages about restarting every 2 hours and activation, LOL..............but to each their own
I have the access on BA FTP. I can download it but upload will take a lot of time. EDIT: Also I found Windows 7 7600.16384 on BA FTP which is RTM Escrow and it should be RTM version instead of 7600.16385.
Are you guys sure about that 200kB unfinished torrent thing? Total Commander v8-51a shows just 2 different Bytes by its file compare in about 35% of file size.
I don't have the broken ISO, so I can't tell you much about it. If you have both you are more of an authority on it than me. Ill take your word on that one lol makes sense to me, there used to be downloaders that would require another program to toast the file that was downloaded to remove/add the last byte or two caused from the downloader.
The "Fish themed" Windows 8 Consumer Preview was very nice Slightly humor included plus great color theme. I liked it a lot
Curiosity is too big for not asking, I liked 7989 the most in those days, after 7989 M$ took a wrong turn. How does 7989 subscribe to your expectations?
The other one I saw on BA had a text file by the person who modified it .... so it's a "custom" version hence I deleted it and uploaded the "untouched" one to EFA.
