Hi Brainsuck, i am quite sure, that i didn`t install a loader - i used the modded bios with included certificate and oem key, which was blacklisted. But sometimes 'something wonderful has happened....'.... So, what may be the next steps to get it genuine again ? I checked all system files, and not one is harmed: C:\Windows\system32>sfc /scannow Beginning system scan. This process will take some time. Beginning verification phase of system scan. Verification 100% complete. Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.
Do the following steps: 1. Run Daz Loader, press the Uninstall button. 2. Reboot 3. Install the key and certificate. 4. Validate online.
I install BIE version I make this steps with ASUS With DELL Bios Mod + Dell Cert + Dell Serial AND Windows validation was successful Thanks Brothers
Try to install the WinXP VirtualMachine from M$ (download for Ultimate / Enterprise(?) users to make sure companies may still run XP programs). Before you can download the image, another validation checks your installation. This check killed my genuine and it will kill yours.
No,it will not kill your activation,as far you are using proper modded bios.At my system with gigabyte MB,slic 2.1,certificate,award bios version F14,think was with Dell Ultimate key at that time did not have any problems at all.
Hi MasterDisaster : Does one have to run a Daz loader even if the BIOS was modded and did not install the BIE version. The reason I am asking this question is because I have a dell inspiron 700M laptop with a phoenix bios which I modded to slic 2.1 and had windows 7 ultimate installed last october, I have been using the laptop daily and running windows update regularly for over 6 months now without any problem. All of a sudden I started getting the message that "Windows 7 Build 7600 is not genuine" I have not downloaded any software of late just windows and security software updates I can't figure out what killed the activation.
You most likely would have had the blacklisted key. Just change the key and validate online. If that does not solve it, then post a MGADiag report over here.
I just had the same problem so I changed to using the Alienware key and it activated fine using the DOS commands (ie. slmgr.vbs -ipk XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXX-XXXX)
