thanks @LostED gibMacOS is what i was looking for how i can get the urls and print them to text file Edit - i think catalina link is not same as this 11. macOS Catalina 10.15.7 (19H15)
I always loaded the files provided by @coleoptere2007 which resulted in a DMG file. Then, I converted the DMG to ISO, using UltraISO. Would that converting work with the renamed PKG, too? cole has not posted anything for some time now.
I have renamed InstallerAssistant.pkg to InstallerAssistant.dmg and mounted the image. Her is what I se: 2 folders and 2 files as showed in the top of the picture. The content of the "com_apple_MobileAsset_MacSoftwareUpdate" folder is showed in the bottom part of the picture. I don't however se any "Install macOS Monterey.app" folder
Odd, because I distinctly remember seeing the 'Install macOS' app when I tried it after being told of the trick just after Big Sur came out. Double odd that I just tried it again on a Monty IA.pkg and I see what you see. Either Apple changed things since I first looked, or age is meddling with my memory. Both are equally plausible H.
