    There's still the chicken-and-egg-problem that you need Mac OS in the first place to create an ISO.

    Yeah, the chicken-and-egg problem. I have a reasonably stable MacOS guest running on wmware workstation, but first creating , then copying an iso to a shared folder on the host, is slow and painful. Is there really no way to do this directly form windows or linux?
