that's what I think, but dunno how to repair Mail, I already uninstalled and reinstalled Live Mail 2012, still sucks

i cant say how many times out of no where my apps like groove music/mail/movie&tv just stoped working for no reason an then other times after a windows update ive done the sfc/scanow even the powershell command nothing ever fixes it except a new install of windows

 

i had a client with bad 8.1 to 10 upgrade and store and apps were broken.
tried it all.
finally the mediacreationtool.exe ran "upgrade this (win 10 already) pc" and that fixed it.

 

updated to 14271 Calendar app stopped working too ! uninstalle Mail and Calendar, reinstalled: no go

 

It seems that you still do not believe that it cannot be repaired? Not in any way cannot. what helps, I said already.
And forget forever this obsolete Live Mail. And also all other obsolete, malware and not-necessary software.
Use only this, what is trusted and updated.
Everything isn't still gold that glitters.

I fought with Windows Live Mail and my Outlook.com account for many months and finally gave up. M$ makes pure garbage when it comes to email clients and I'm including Outlook!!!

Everyone should save them self lots of time and frustration, switch to Thunderbird.

 

for live mail i had to go to %appdata% and find the folder and rename.. then reinstall windows live essentials 2012.

Yeah in my windows 10 everything works fine.. all but Mail. Starts asks for account then quits.. lol but sorry who would use that when there are far better ones out there..

 

Yes, it's quite typical problem for a long time. I also had and that is why I'm a little studied it.

 

Mostly Windows 10 apps like Mail, Calendar and others, It's piece of crap, I use Thunderbird and Firefox nor Opera.. Microsoft Windows 10 still 1/2 s**t ever get it done right!
