Make a Activated Windows 8.1 Pro+WMC ISO

    I have tried using the new Win 8.1 Pro iso (en_windows_8_1_pro_vl_x64_dvd_2971948) to add WMC but I am getting error and when I tried checking GetTargetEdition it says that it can not be upgraded.How to go about it

    Pro VL can't be upgraded to WMC. Use retail edition.

    Hello, I've a win 8 pro wmc actived last year (with free key wmc), I have just upgrade it to win 8.1 pro wmc. But now I want to reinstall win 8.1 pro wmc (a clean install) so i've downloaded a windows 8.1 pro iso. if I use this method, can I create an activated iso? do I have to reactivate it by phone or something?

    Free WMC key is bundled to machine, if you install on same machine, it will activate by itself on-line, if you switch machine, you'll need to make a phone call. :D
