Make a Backup image of Windows 8.1 RTM

    From the pe created bootdisk copy the files:)

    open command as Admin and type sdclt.exe and the backup gui will start

    Does anyone know how to restore this image if 8.1 is not installed? In my case I went back to 7 with an 8.1 backup on a different drive. Image backup in 8.1 doesn't prompt you to make a recovery disk anymore, and a regular Windows 8 install disk's repair tools do not work in re-imaging. It seems that 8.1 has to be installed, and its repair tools (advanced boot) must be launched to re-image. I don't think a recovery disk exists for 8.1 but I hope I'm wrong...

    Anyone?
