    Hello! Please would you reupload HP tool with internal MS-DOS by DavidXXW ? - I can't download from urlisdown dot org. How to bypass it ?

    Is the 2.2.3 file straitght ? it has only 96 KB (I didn't tested it). While the 2.06 version has 2024 KB size.

    hi guys am new here and i need some help. i have an acer travelmate 530 laptop and i installed win 7 on it. but a friend of mine used the computer and compressed my hard drive, so now it gives me "bootmgr is compressed" error. i don't have cd drive and the bios does not support usb boot. what can i do to solve this problem? plz help me!!

    If you don't have external DVD drive for booting/repairing, you need to attach the HDD to a different machine to uncompress the bootmgr.

    Google the term bootmgr is compressed and find the solution. Read the first few search results and you'll find what you need to do to get back running.

    Hello,
    thanks for that thread. i made bootable usb drive and copy newest bios update file in it. so i have to copy ,,Copy your BIOS Flash Utility to this USB drive" too? my laptop is asus so i have to copy here asus bios flash utility right? thanks.
