    You can download 'resource hacker' and use it to change or replace the images in that direct-link library as you want.

    Why should you open a dll with notepad? :g:

    Set your icon as usual, THEN adjust the path opening desktop.ini with notepad

    P.S. Perhaps you can open a dll with notepad, it's not hung, it's just deadly slow with large files, just wait.

    IT DOSE WORK !

    1- The icon must be inside the folder. (MUST BE INSIDE GOT IT)
    so moving the folder will carry the icon with it. AMEN !
    2- Now you figure it out.

    Yeah...yeah.. the icon is already inside the folder. No problem about that. But the customization only works with moving, not copying. (GOT IT)

    Tested both ways did work OK for Me. I understand u mean copy and past.

    Hi cdavisdeco, all my test was done on my main OS.
    Edition Win 10 Enterprise Version 1511 OS 10586.589
    move and copy everything works fine.
    Did test on Edition Win 10 Pro Version 1607 OS 14393.51,
    move work ok and copy fail. You are right !.
