Actually,no,my "position" is where the bleep were people concerned with privacy when Google and Apple started implementing the same privacy policies, but when Microsoft does follow THEIR lead - people lose their collective s**t. (That plus the inherent contradiction that most of the people complaining about MS have essentially bought themselves a GPS tracker on which they store their data.. and are cool with ditching it for the next tracker with a better screen,so they can share their lives of Facepalm or Twitter, complete with geotags and location check-ins)That + if you really want privacy, then just don't use any major commercial AND non-commercial OS,as either is too big of a project not so have something 'untoward' inside it
You are WRONG... only if you got: KB3068708 Update for customer experience and diagnostic telemetry KB3022345 Update for customer experience and diagnostic telemetry KB2952664 Compatibility update for upgrading Windows 7 KB2990214 Update that enables you to upgrade from Windows 7 to a later version of Windows KB3035583 Update installs Get Windows 10 app in Windows 8.1 and Windows 7 SP1 KB971033 Description of the update for Windows Activation Technologies KB3021917 Update to Windows 7 SP1 for performance improvements KB3044374 Update that enables you to upgrade from Windows 8.1 to a later version of Windows
I think that might be a bit unfair. Most of the people posting here will have at least a passing understanding that this sort of tracking has been going on a long time, and some of us might have done something towards reducing the amount of our data the vendors get. But some (and amazingly some who post here) are either unaware of it or don't see it as a problem. Personally, I just want a bit of privacy. Is that too much to ask for?
here you go Code: @echo on echo "BY f9t0" wusa /uninstall /kb:3112343 wusa /uninstall /kb:3083711 wusa /uninstall /kb:3083325 wusa /uninstall /kb:3080149 wusa /uninstall /kb:3075853 wusa /uninstall /kb:3075249 wusa /uninstall /kb:3072318 wusa /uninstall /kb:3068708 wusa /uninstall /kb:3065988 wusa /uninstall /kb:3064683 wusa /uninstall /kb:3058168 wusa /uninstall /kb:3050267 wusa /uninstall /kb:3044374 wusa /uninstall /kb:3035583 wusa /uninstall /kb:3022345 wusa /uninstall /kb:2976978 wusa /uninstall /kb:2952664 wusa /uninstall /kb:2990214 wusa /uninstall /kb:971033 wusa /uninstall /kb:3021917 pause
Claiming something exist doesn't make it exist either. So far, we have yet to see any prove that there is actually "spying" software in Windows. Until that time: If you want a spyware-free version of Windows, simply search for "Windows 10 Media Creation tool" and go ahead.
Err... Even Windows XP already had basic telemetry, so had Vista, 7, 8 and 8.1. What do you think that "Help make Windows better"-checkbox is for? Windows has always had telemetry, and so does every other OS, in fact, so does every other piece of software that takes itself serious.
That's not how any of this works. Microsoft has as much power over your PCs content as they had back in the 1980s: none. They can't search your files, they can't search your contacts, they can't search your emails, software or any of that. Honestly, why would they? Do you really think that you are so interesting to them?
If you want real privacy: Destroy all you computers Destroy all your cell phones Get an anonymous address for snail mail Paint all your windows black Never get a drivers license or any other type of personal ID Never get a credit card Never leave your house Never fail to wear gloves (fingerprints you know) Never go on vacation Never, never, never ....... there are hundreds of nevers and don'ts Or you can take steps to mitigate intrusions and monitor your various activities so you can protect yourself to as great an extent as possible. You are never (there's that word again) 100% safe but you can take measure to protect yourself without becoming totally paranoid.
Im not sure in what s**tty country are you living at, but in mine, PRIVACY is a CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT and because a stupid company like m$ want to keep that away or worst, an internet fanboi say his privacy worth nothing, do nothing to my national rights. If you want privacy, you dont need to destroy nothing. Just two rules: 1. Use linux 2. Dont use w$
Same for me dude, but how's that working for you? Having a right does not mean all people accept that and respect it. The reason this discussion is active is precisely because it's NOT respected. So, what do you do? You either 1.) get out of the system or 2.) learn to work within it or 3.) you change the system or 4.) just carp and complain and be generally miserable. Every individual has to choose their path. Personally I choose 2.) for now ... that may change. But hey, you can pick the one you want or create a whole new one.
You should never expect privacy in public. When you are on the internet, your cell phone, etc. you are in a public arena. People are just ignorant of this fact. Even on Linux, when you are on the internet, or even connected to the internet, you are in public. Do not lose sight of this fact.
Internet, Linux, Mobile Phones, were always in Public Domain, and NOW anything to do with Microsoft OS (Windows 7,8,8.1,10) is in public domain. Public Domain work without obtaining permission...
