Max Payne 3 need Windows XP orVista or 7 OS, Intel Core 2 Duo Processor, 2 GB RAM, 35 Gb free space on Hard Drive, 512 Mb Video Memory, nVidia GeForce 8600 video card, DirectX Compatible sound card, keyboard, mouse and DVD Rom Drive.
I got this for my son last week for his summer vacation time. It takes 30GB of hard disk space. Any idea where I can download the post program patches. I bought this on a 4 disc DVD.
The store bought DVD has 4 discs and as soon as it completes on disc 4, it starts to run autopatcher, which can take a while, and the game runs only after it patches. It is a pain to install what with the huge space it takes. Any point in not installing it on C:. Will this work: Install Max Payne 3 (or any other high resource game) on say D: (non OS). The registries and everything are on C but the game takes up space on D: Image C Of course, if it goes away from D (through deletion/format), then the game will not load anyway. My laptop's C drive gets imaged by acronis at 15GB without Max Payne but at 43 GB with it. Also, since you are my friend, are a gaming expert, and have advised me in the past; what other game can I buy for my son. I am not looking at site downloads (download size), and would prefer single player format. My son is not fanatic about gaming and I would not like him to spend hours on any game. What about BF3, COD, GTA, SIMS. etc. The laptop is win 7 x64, core i7-2760qm, nvidia 525m, 8GB DDR3 1333.
This game is too sick, Def recommend it if you guys haven't checked it out yet. Story line is amazing too. 9.5/10
