Maximum number and sizes of Hard drives on Dekstop

    I have been trying to use the HP and Dell desktop configurators to configure a desktop that has an SSD as 1st drive and (2) 2TB drives as the 2nd and 3rd drives however they don't allow this.

    Is there any sort of limitation for the number of 2TB or 3TB drives for a desktop?

    All SATA. Using online configurator to configure new system.

    Doesn't show anything larger than 1TB.

    I Just want 3 drives. (1) SSD and (2) 2TB drives. Willing to buy or build my own. I can get MoBo that has plenty of SATA but can I attach this configuration or is there any sort of BIOS limitations for multiple 2TB or even 3TB internal drives.
