Hi guys, I have a question but I'm not shure if here is the right place to put it, so if isn't just let me know and I will change it. Lets assume that I have a notbook with an original version of windows but for some reason it just loose the OS and I had to format it and put a new fresh Windows in it, but I have the original serial number and I did not have the recovery disk or the original windows in DVD because they did not give it to me when I bought the notebook, so my question is: Can I download the Windows (assuming that it comes with windows 7) from the repository that is here in this post and write the original serial number? and doing this I will have an original windows instaled in my notebook? hi, thank you very much My notebook is a Sony Vaio VPCCA17FX., it comes with windows 7 home basic and I had a problem with it then I had to format it. Now I would like to reinstall the windows in it but I would like to have it original as I already paid for it. I will read more to see how I will get it done. thanks again
Ok, Sometimes we think that we already know everything but as much older we are more we learn that the reallity is: we do not know s**t. The original instalation of windows 7 in a computer has 2 serials? I'm asking this because I start to use some utils that I found here to do a research in another VAIO and I discover that the Pkey in it is one sequence and the COA is another. Backing to my original problem, I format the computer so now I have a clean disk, so I suppose that I did not have the Pkey number of my Windows 7, is this? Someone here can help me to understand this or can point me to a place where I will be able to get some text to read and learn?
