Calling them both apps will become more and more confusing, as we don't always know if it's meant for a desktop/laptop or a cell phone. Sometimes I download a program, then find it's for an Android, which wasn't specified on the download page.
In the many years I have been downloading Apps/Programs I have never seen one that did not specify which OS or device it was for. It may be confusing but it's there.

Fuhgedaboutit! I switched to Microsoft Security Essentials. I think we're all in a feeble state of mind this month. Don't know when the old normal will return or the new normal will start.
This may be alittle off topic but for those who run sfc /scannow in Admin Cmd Prompt and came up with errors, try this in Admin Cmd Prompt: DISM /ONLINE /CLEANUP-IMAGE /RESTOREHEALTH May take 1 to 2 hours to complete Reboot computer afterwards and run sfc /scannow again
