*MICROSOFT REMOVES THE ABILITY TO UNINSTALL PRELOADED APPS IN WINDOWS 10- Can't link to article but: Apparently, the uninstall option is no longer available for some of the applications that come preloaded with the operating system, even though this option has been there from the start, and been available to users before the latest Creators Update builds that have been released to Insiders. Users, then, can no longer uninstall many of the preloaded Microsoft apps with a right-click in the Start menu, and that is because the Uninstall option is no longer there, The same Uninstall button is also grayed out in the Apps & Features section of the Settings app, and cannot be clicked. Although it is too early to confirm whether Redmond has actually removed this ability in Windows 10, other users who have posted their responses also confirm that the uninstall option is gone. Which means that many of the apps that are part of build 15014 can now no longer be removed. It is still possible to remove these preloaded apps by using PowerShell, though. Then again, that is not something the average user will be comfortable in doing so. Let’s see whether this is something that Microsoft is testing out, or whether the company wants to move in with this drastic a change
