updatepack7R2 need enough space to run.At least 15G of release space is reserved. EDIT:Turn off antivirus software and prevent the screen from freezing.
i hate to dissapoint you, but until now the latest version have the same error message, like the previous one, take your time in testing your releases against windows 7, but please, don't upload any releases before you make sure that all tools and scripts are tested and working 100% on all operating systems (7, 8.1, 10)
All is tested and reviewed by @abbodi1406 and you are the only one experiencing problems it seems so might be possible it is your local problem? I will install the updated ISO i successfully created here and run a test: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...-wim-esd-creation.79421/page-106#post-1785229
I did exactly all what you said, I downloaded two versions of Aio Iso creation tool, used adk 8.1, when it failed to integrate the updates, i used adk 10 (19041) and still has the same error, now you believe abbodi1406, and deny all my uploaded logs ? are you serious ? go and read them again.
you should test your tool against windows 7 to make sure what's exactly behind the main cause behind error 577, but you didn't push any effort doing all of that, you just tested your tool on windows 11 using adk of 22000, seriously, this is how you test-drive your work ? do you enjoy turning forum members into your guinea pigs ?
Hello. Really need help here, I'm unable to create the ISO, those errors always appeared and I don't know how to fix it. Code: Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool Version: 10.0.19041.1 Error: 2 Unable to access the image. Make sure that the image path and the Windows directory for the image exist and you have Read permissions on the folder. The DISM log file can be found at C:\Windows\Logs\DISM\dism.log Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool Version: 10.0.19041.1 Error: 50 The request is not supported. The DISM log file can be found at C:\Windows\Logs\DISM\dism.log
Not sure what your setup is (not read back) but make sure if Win 10 that Defender is not only disabled (or make exceptions for the paths the files are in are white-listed) but also turn off real-time protection (that comes back every boot up by default)
@casio4ever Because 7 is done, outdated and can't properly service itself? But what i did is: - Installed the mentioned Win 7 ISO - Installed the 19041.1 ADK - Copied the full tool to the laptop and put in the latest addons and updatepack - Provided the same source ISOs you did (fresh downloads from MSFT) - Ran "W7_x64_Single_Index_Only_3.0_Modern.cmd" without the updatepack present (to speed up testing) and all options selected, all ran without any errors. Now i have put in the latest updatepack and started the same script, will update this post when it finishes.
Don't blame microsoft, blame the code, and now you admit that your testing process didn't include the updatepack to speed up the testing, now if your project can't stand a chance versus $hitty 10 or 11 on uefi systems, i guess you'll shut it down for good sooner or later.
I said, the pack was left out to skip 40+ min of updates integration, now i know that no errors occur i've put it in, no errors up till simplix pack is called, waiting for the updates integration to finish and the script to resume. The ADK is needed on 7 because its native dism can't handle the xml integration for the starter creation, this is done by code by whatever127 who originally created the starter creation method, to be able to create ALL other SKUs from it so the tool doesn't need to run all twice and no need for providing the enterprise iso. And you are free to stop using this tool... seems you are posting with other intentions, this tool is not aiming to install an ancient OS on modern hardware from the start.
as far as i know, this tool orignally made for installing windows 7 on uefi enviroment (with csm enabled), now you choose to abandon your tool without debugging its errors on win 7 real enviroment ? fine. do you know any other utiity or tool used for integrating simplex updates inside original windows 7 installation media like yours ?

This tool works very well for me, and many others here. If it doesn't work for you, then you can always ask for a refund. (Yes, that was a joke.)
