Unmounting any image can easily fail if you have any open Explorer windows (because Explorer registers the mounted image in its sidebar and thus locks the handle). I always close all Explorer windows and have no problems since.

depends on which ryzen. i've done it on desktop zen2 2700x but not on newer platform as there are no official driver for it.
