His problem is resolved: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...l-wim-esd-creation.79421/page-18#post-1578338 Don't know what his second attempt was. Try with en-US win 10 source iso.
Is this where I get the manually mounted image of install.wim in order to use the BypassESU v5 AIO tool? And is it best to mount this on a USB stick?
@Enthousiast downloaded your new pack edited batch file to exclude "Basic" and "Ultimate" editions the whole process was done without errors and the iso created correctly installed on real hardware, it is p-e-r-f-e-c-t-!-!-!-! thanks for your great job! PS: iso used: Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 x64 (it_windows_7_ultimate_with_sp1_x64_dvd_u_677356) and Windows 10 19H2 Jan 2020 build 592 x64 language: Italian
of course because here, in Italy, nobody has the Ultimate, i mean a Regular Ultimate license (Ultimate was used the very first year as "The cracked Windows 7 edition") also the Basic is not used here the 3 common editions here are Starter for many netbooks and Home and Professional for "standard" notebooks and desktop. so... why do i need to take them with me?
Because all oem laptops/desktops/tablets with a valid slic for 7, now running Starter/Basic/Premium/Pro can also run Ultimate genuinely. It just takes a few minutes more to have them added and you can always select the desired sku at setup anyway
ok but... from 2009 i NEVER seen an Ultimate Genuine key or sticker here, so i think i will never install Ultimate. am i wrong to not include it?
With slic + cert + oem:slp, there is no need for the COA. With OEM systems and 7, you don't pay for the specific pre-installed SKU but for 7 in general You can do whatever you want, i was just curious about the reason
i'm not sure i understood correctly.... a notebook with a Home Premium COA can activate Ultimate regularly ?? i'm talking about a very basic setup: notebook from 2010, with Home Premium COA, i format and reinstall Home Premium edition.
If it has a slic for 7, all starter/basic/premium/pro and ultimate editions can be installed and genuinely activated, manually, by daz loader and at install, the MRP project.
ohhhh ok ok, you talking about daz loader i only meaning the "regular" activation thanks for the lesson
When a valid slic is found, DAZ loader will install the appropriate certificate and oem:slp key and won't install the bootloader, that is as genuine as when the oem factory did it.
well... i may have a 0,01% of DAZ, and your, knowledge but if Microsoft sold different editions with different prices I don't think it is very regular to activate an Ultimate having a Basic COA, even if tecnically it is possible.
I am talking about OEM systems, with win 7 pre-installed and activated by SLIC (in bios), certificate and oem:slp key. Not about retail store DVDs. The slic will work for all win 7 skus mentioned before.
i was NOT talking about retail store dvds too preassembled desktop and notebook got always an OEM license, not a retail one.
I think i was clear enough, when installing any of the previously mentioned skus on an oem win 7 system with slic, all can be genuinely activated. - by manually applying the certificate and oem:slp key - by running DAZ loader, which will do the certificate and oem:slp key part when it finds the slic, in this case it doesn't install the bootloader with the emulated slic table - by using MRP, it will do all automated too
you were clear, believe me. maybe me was not clear can you tell why Microsoft made and sold five editions if all of them can be genuine activated indifferently in any Windows 7 slic hardware ? why not made a unique edition of Windows 7 ?
The finding out this was possible made mdl big, msft never did anything about it, like with KMS emulation and HWID.
