Yes, long as when I wrote the post I saw it. It actually served me at the moment because I was under the limitation which prevented me to attach links in the responses (I had not yet 20).
Yeah I suspect that importing files does not copy them to your own account on the server, but instead links them on your acc so when the imported file gets blocked by MEGA, the uploader's file gets blocked I hope I am wrong, don't want all this time you spent uploading to be wasted :/
No, I think is for storage space optimization. If 1+ users import the file hashed "x" then there's no need to multiply by copying it on the server, these saves a lot of infrastructure hence money.
Thanks @=)(=, but the one I downloaded yesterday (twice) did not work. A new one from another source with right hash worked fine.
Great. I'm not sure if I should keep making new links for all ISOs or just upload the English ISOs and leave the SVF patches, I think it would last longer.
hm, someone should serve with actual links of the files, anyway it is up to you guys how you handle it but it must be absolutely clear that nobody downloads directly but only imports to own folder. say it in every post you make guys or share with e-mail invitation which is the best way anyway
Since many folks have no idea that IE and Mega suck major big time. and Mega actually Recommends the use of Chrome.. here is a c/p about Mega from M. Ortmann Unfortunately, IE requires any file to be written from within JavaScript to be held in memory in its entirety (Chrome and Firefox allow for "streaming" writes). We recommend using one of the other browsers or installing MEGAsync, which also features a built-in downloader. Kind regards I have no issue with using Chrome to DL directly from Mega - I also import to my Mega Account...
That is a good way to post the links. Unfortunately, it still says "The file you are trying to donwload is no longer available", Mega deleted the files very fast.
Yeah, it shows "File no longer accessible" for me again. Hopefully it will start working, or MEGA has really blocked them this time.
Thanks )( ...am i missing something or did you leave out the Windows Embedded 8.1 Industry Enterprise with Update iso's? - Wanted to add them to my collection.
I think the SVF are the way to go, not only from a size aspect, but from a takedown aspect. I'm guessing MS hasn't figured out a way to take jumbled data diffs and own them yet. Fair use fits in there somewhere. Figure 3gb file can be made from a 200mb file. Seems like a safe amount to call fair use of IP..
