Messed Up attempted Slic 2.1 flash

    Hi,

    I messed up trying to run 7loader Ver4 from Orbit. By mistake hit "None Slic Option" while trying to suss out tool. Now I cant boot up my laptop (HP Pavillion 1130ae). It will get past bios boot but then I just get a flashing cursor in corner of a black empty screen.

    Somebody please help as I have no idea how to repair (I tried to repair start up from DVD but that did not work)

    I had the same thing happen on to Dv6 I had to return it. Did you already have slic 2.1 installed?

    Try the recovery option on the W7 installer again, choose the option where you can pick a utility and choose Command Line. From there type "bootrec /fixmbr" and "bootrec /fixboot", hopefully that should fix it.
