    Well, the first method in that sticky is related to KB3172605. So if that's not working for you, then its kinda strange.

    :eek:Sorry Tito, all my fault! I didn't look at abbodi's link because I didn't know it was a KB3172605 rollup rip...:eek: thought it was only the WU client which I had already installed..

    abbodi1406's rip is EXACTLY what I need...:D

    yes the preview rollup contain telemetry components, as clearly described in the article
    and all future monthly rollups will carry these components

    this thread is about Windows Update client fix, not telemetry
