Lol @ these companies 'trying' to consolidate their massive overhead of unused drive space and charge consumers, these companies are so neglectful and waste energy... they call it this invisible 'secure' 'cloud' in the sky.

nothing you place on the 'cloud' (Data Center Storage drives) is secure.

ATM I have 25 GB of free space, that is a lot for me to use unless I store more stuff online instead of on my server.

I have the 15 GB Free + 10 GB Loyalty bonus.
The Loyalty bonus is because I was one of the sky drive testers & only had to ask for it & it was given (deadline passed a few years ago for that).

 

Someone should store tons of NSA-trolling documents on their OneDrive just to mess with them.

I'm not talking about security of data. I'm talking about security of user, who is using one drive on a pirated system..

 

it is as safe as going out and paying for windows. Not safe for anyone, paid or not. They really don't care about a pirated system, they are data miners looking for anything that smells like conspiracy to the country (for MS's team mates NSA), or harmful to the users of the internet. MS is btw, the Internet Police taking what they want and shutting down what they want.

 

I would never trust any MS service after their skype fiasco.
They basically told the NSA how to hack their streams.
Even if the NSA had ample proof that these people were terrorists and beheading people daily,
this kind of betrayal of your supposed anonymity should never be dismissed.

Just because they start with a lot of power and good intentions, doesn't mean it will stay that way.
One of these times we'll get a stupid redneck who thinks everyone's out to get him and starts a damn witch-hunt like Bush v2 did on the Arabs.
